World Poetry Day

Today is the World Poetry Day and we couldn’t find better poem than this to be shared with you.

“Dopo anni di vittorie” Arab version

Lyrics and Music: Boys Parma 1977

Translation and Performance: Amr Fekry

Dopo anni di vittorie / siamo finiti in D / ma quando gioca il Parma / noi siamo sempre qui / La strada sarà lunga / da soffrire ci sarà / ma se restiamo uniti / resteremo in serie A

[After winning years we went to serie D, but when Parma plays we are always here. The way will be long and we have to suffer, but if we keep being united we will stay in Serie A]

Parma: Small Town Big Family

Parma Fans Worldwide is a Network started by supporters set up for abroad fanbase of Parma. A fans-to-fans networking project built to bring Parma (Club and town) closer to non-italian fans, and abroad fans closer to Parma. We focus on the most human point of view of what being a Parma supporter means, that “kind of magic” we all feel once experiencing a match at the Tardini live or just walking through the beautiful city centre of Parma.
Through a combination of work on various social channels (Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram), and hidden social relationships (1 International Facebook closed group, 12 local Facebook closed groups, WhatsApp and Messenger chats in English, Spanish, Portuguese, HK Chinese) we have since August 2018, linked together Parma fans and sympathisers uniting them all under one worldwide fans account where all are able to communicate in the same network allowing them to talk and meet in person, most of the times in Tardini Stadium.
We have helped dozens of fans travelling to Parma, helping them finding tickets for home and away matches whilst giving them suggestions to ensure the had a memorable authentic local trip.

The result was that we shared the passion of Parma, resulting in Parma followers becoming supporters and supporters becoming fans.
In just a few months we had online visits from 120 different countries and we stimulated the creation of 4 Official Parma abroad fans clubs and at least 3 more to come soon; we have also proudly opened a Hong Kong based division – Parma Fans Worldwide Greater China – that is now running a proper Facebook Page and Twitter account as well as translating our website to Chinese, they have also produced their own fan merchandise; helped fans meet up with other fans in their town to watch Parma matches together, organize a combined purchase from the Official online Parma store or plan a trip to Italy they would never dare if alone.

Most of all we made away fans understand they are part of Parma Family, as SoloParma admin Gio testify with his words we proudly share with you: https://soloparma.weebly.com/blog/a-thank-you-to-parma-fans-worldwide

We demonstrated to local Parma fans that abroad fans are real fans realizing a crazy video of a song that involved 70 people from 5 continents: it was our way to say “Thank You” to Club Legend Alessandro Lucarelli for staying despite bankruptcy and bringing us back to Serie A. It was a chance for those who couldn’t have the chance to meet him in person to send him this message through us: https://parmafansworldwide.com/2018/12/15/we-did-it-for-real/ A united and coordinated abroad Fanbase is like the one we are dreaming to build is something unique and golden, people is discovering it.

Parma Fans Worldwide is feeding a virtuous chain in which everyone get benefits: network allow alone fans to find others in their country with the same Football fever and now they get the deserved reception when in Parma; Club increases and enforces his fan base; more fans attend live matches in Tardini (countertrend than the rest of Serie A) and someone is starting traveling with Parmesan fanbase also for away matches – check the Chloe Beresford article for FloFC: https://www.flofc.com/articles/6363250-different-cities-same-passion-parma-fans-are-united-by-faith– as a demonstration of the improving relationship between local and abroad fans.

We are just at the beginning of our journey but we are proud of what we are building thanks to the trust and the support of everyone.

Parma is a small town but a big Family.

Rush for Lucarelli Doc crowdfunding

Director Davide Potente with Luciano Parravicini Lux For Media Producion, is realizing a documentary on Parma Calcio Legend Alessandro Lucarelli.

A part of the shooting has already been made: original shooting in La Spezia historical night and following celebrations in Piazza Garibaldi, unprecedented interviews with Lucarelli family: all clips you’ll see for the first time in Il Mestiere del Capitano documentary.

There is still a part of the shooting to be realized and for this reason the production opened a crowdfunding campaign asking Parma and Football fans to support the project. All subscribers will be listed in movie credits and, depending on the amount they donate will receive specific prizes. Moreover everyone will partecipate to a raffle for tickets for Movie preview and party.

Go to this DIRECT LINK to the IndieGoGo portalhttps://www.indiegogo.com/projects/il-mestiere-del-capitano#/ , where you can watch the teaser and choose the amount to donate. Every single contribution is important. Don’t wait more, there are only few days left.

If you are an institution or a Company interested in supporting the production contact directly Lux For Media at info@luxformedia.com

The story of Alessandro Lucarelli, the man that for his loyalty to Parma Club and Parma people decided to remain in 4th division and that brought back the Club in Serie A has to be told to everyone.

It is our story too. Contribute in spreading it.

Travelling Parmigiani: Jose Esteban in Manchester

Sooner or later we’ll be back on those stages. We all know it.

Sooner or later.

Jose Esteban, Spanish fan living in Germany, went visiting a couple of Europe most important Football theaters. You know, in theater there is a proper dressing code and if our friend could enter with that sweater on it probably means Parma is still on the guests list. They are waiting for us to come back.

Sooner or later.

Don’t forget #14

You’re used to such kind of posts, but it is important not to forget where we are coming from: failure, restart from serie D, triumphs and defeats. Also bad defeats, almost knock outs.

One year ago the worst lost match of the season against a huge Empoli. Everything at that point seemed impossible, then you know how it went.

Don’t forget where we come from.

Lazio vs Parma: when and how

Lazio vs Parma match will be at 3 PM (CET) on Sunday 17th March and if you’re going you probably already red our ticket info.

We invite all the others to check on the following link which channel will broadcast the match in each country: www.parmafansworldwide.com/2018/08/26/serie-a-in-your-country

A special mention this week goes to Parma Family members Rick (Hawaii, USA), Rober (Argentina), Tomas (Finland), Gordon (Malta) and Fkin (Macao): we prepared a time zone schedule for you to be sure about the match starting time.

Travelling Parmigiani: Mattia in Iceland

An iconic jersey in a wonderful place, Vatnajokull National Park in Iceland. Due to weather condition we suppose the Italian fan Mattia brought that t-shirt just to take the pic for us.

Brave Mattia, don’t worry, Iceland is not cold there is just a different type of heat, as our Icelandic friend Gudjon use to repeat.

Meanwhile take care of not coming back with a strong cold!

Thanks to our friends of “I più bellelli” Instagram account for putting us in contact with this Gialloblu explorer.

Parma Fans Treble

It’s time to make some travel plan and why not make a treble!

We already told you about next Parma matches fixture list and that unfortunalely we still don’t know the exact time of last matches of the season but what we do know is that in 7 days you could have the chance to watch 3 straight Parma matches.

Parma will play against Atalanta in Tardini on Sunday 31st March at 12:30 PM CET, then in Frosinone on Wednesday evening and again home against Torino on Saturday 6th April at 3 PM CET: 7 days for 3 matches.

Consider that coming to Parma by plane you have plenty of different options – flying to and from Bergamo, Bologna, Milan or even Parma – and to go to Frosinone for the night Wednesday 3rd April game, Centro Coordinamento Parma Clubs organize really cheap travel by bus (match ticket included) from Parma.

Let us suggest to consider this option since during these home matches we already know there will be many other abroad fans coming to Tardini. These are not big matches so Curva tickets cost only 15 euro and as always under 14 enters almost for free in every area. Couple of abroad supporters already planned to add Frosinone away match to experience the unique atmosfere of an away travel with Parmesan fans. We can not guarantee it will be like when we were together in Cagliari, but surely a great experience for a supporter.

Write us for every curiosity about the matches, organization, ticket info. We are here for that.

We will never stop repeating: Parma is a small town but a big Family. You are already part of it but probably you still don’t know.

Experience it.
