Support we like: Mirko we are with you

We discovered little Crusader Mirko “the Fighter” story after Torino vs Parma in Olimpico, when Roberto Inglese, keeping the promise he made, dedicated him the goal.

Mirko has a talent for writing since his piece of journalism about Parma draw against Juventus arrived straight to the heart of every Parma fans and conquered the whole Tardini support after Boys Parma 1977 dedicated him a banner.

Yesterday a group of Torino fans would like to add their support for this little big man, Mirko The Fighter, hoping to win his own battle against a strong but not invincible opponent. Honor to them, despite football rivalries, for the sensitivity and a bit hug to our Fighter.

Forza Mirko. We are all with you.

Live from a cage

If you think Parma fans where few yesterday night read here.

Buses left Parma at 10 am in the morning, were blocked at highway exit for security search – men had to keep belts away – then let get into the stadium after match start. People that spent one or two day off the work, made 1600 km trip in 24 hours, couldn’t watch the entire match. They were back in Parma at 8 am. The first place where they put them was this, then moved a bit closer to the pitch.

If you have Instagram there is also a video thanks to Parma Club “Oltre I Confini”

Our consideration is that if Serie A is miles away from having sold out stands is also because this kind of reception. 187 people put in a cage and obliged to watch a partial show – a bad match but this is another story – from there.

We lost respect for fans somewhere and security reasons can be the excuse.

Only consolation is that we feel that, in Parma, the Club is far from this kind of policies and opposite team fans can always watch from a good place the match and pay honest price for the tickets. As told some days ago, not everywhere it is cheap like in Tardini.

Security is important, very important, but also give the chance to people that paid for a show to enjoy it.

Thanks to that 187 supporters. By the heart.

It is not the first time you read this post but it is so important for us we prefer to be even boring.

The season is about to officially start with our coming back to Serie A. On Sunday against Udinese it will be emotional, despite the result. It doesn’t matter.

We have to stop a minute to think about this incredible three years we just lived from the failure to the coming back to serie A with three straight promotions.

We have to say “thank you” to all the players, managers, trainers that are part of Parma Calcio 1913 or have been in last three years. Thanks to all the supporters that followed the team even in serie D and even in bad times.

Stealing the words to a friend that we are about to introduce you: “Don’t tell to failed teams they will do like Parma. You know it is impossible”

In Parma there is that “kind of magic” that is not easy to explain to who is not a supporter. Our mission is to show that to everyone that would like to get closer to Crusaders passion, as we explained with the Hidden Crusader post.

Parma is not like other places. Parma Calcio is not like other teams.

Join us and you will discover it.
