We believe that in the picture taken by Parma players, staff and board inside Tardini locker room after “Salvation match” we are ALL IN, because – let us be rhetorical – it is the truth that “we are Parma” all together, as a Family.

Yesterday we demonstrated it: the ball seemed to enter the goal pushed by the support of us all.

We would like to say thank you to the Club, a part for the great result on the pitch, for the recognition we received before the match for the work we are doing as Parma Fans Worldwide Network to help all the Parma fans outside Italy. This recognition have to be shared with all of you.

We cannot nominate one by one all the people we met this season in Tardini, during away matches or outside Italian borders, and the dozens with whom we chat daily. You just have to know that in that picture we are there all together.

Take a long breath now. We survived in Serie A.

We are safe and, after this season, we believe even stronger.

Again, yes.

Thought we could but no. Maybe we are scared of awakening. And if all that was a dream? Awakening can be frustrating.

How many things today?

Drinking a coffee in front of Winners Cup, meeting people from abroad that we helped with tickets, got a scarf as gift from Angelo Manfredini, tie Crociati Balkan banner with Dejan, meeting players after match, driving home and discover that New York Times – NEW YORK TIMES – dedicated a reportage to Parma Calcio. To US.

There again after more or less 1000 days. Using Rory Smith words:

“There is a sense of order being restored, that everything is in its rightful place once more, that things are — at last — how they used to be.”

It is not the first time you read this post but it is so important for us we prefer to be even boring.

The season is about to officially start with our coming back to Serie A. On Sunday against Udinese it will be emotional, despite the result. It doesn’t matter.

We have to stop a minute to think about this incredible three years we just lived from the failure to the coming back to serie A with three straight promotions.

We have to say “thank you” to all the players, managers, trainers that are part of Parma Calcio 1913 or have been in last three years. Thanks to all the supporters that followed the team even in serie D and even in bad times.

Stealing the words to a friend that we are about to introduce you: “Don’t tell to failed teams they will do like Parma. You know it is impossible”

In Parma there is that “kind of magic” that is not easy to explain to who is not a supporter. Our mission is to show that to everyone that would like to get closer to Crusaders passion, as we explained with the Hidden Crusader post.

Parma is not like other places. Parma Calcio is not like other teams.
