Curva Nord meeting

Boys Parma made a call to all Curva Nord in order to meet in their headquarter on Tuesday 10th at 9 PM

The announcement was followed by a video that collect the three straight promotions, since failure to coming back to serie A.

From the post on Boys Parma Facebook page:

In the video we remember the three emotional seasons that brought us back to our category. It has been wonderful restart from Serie D, a special unity was created between fanbase, town, team and board, tipically Parmesan, the same that could be experienced in Nineties and that contributed to bring in our town many Cups. Baraye with the balaclava under Curva Nord is the symbol of this special link that contributed to the climb. This link it slowly low down changing league because of the changing of the relationship between fans and club, until having that distance that is typical – a sort of routine – in serie A, and that we all were used to and that we want to avoid. Serie D is not that far away, we all remember it well the climate we created together. We started from Arzignano, we run a lot with the awareness and a little effort by all the parts of Parma framework we will go even farer.

Tuesday 10th, in our headquarter, we will make a meeting open to everybody that is interested in this theme. We are waiting for you to come back being what we were.

BE UNIQUE TO GO FURTHER

Parma won a trophy

Are glory days about to come? Parma won a trophy yesterday. It was the Parmagiani Indonesia Cup, played by four team: White Crociati Parma (winner), Gialloblu Parma, Red Crociati Parma and Black Phoenix Parma.

Not so difficult to win you think? Probably, but for the moment White Crociati Parma have a new trophy in their showcase.

We always argued Parmagiani lives in a better world 🙂

[In the pics Rengga, top scorer of the tournament, an Iwan with the cup. Thanks to Rengga and to all Parmagiani for the video too]

Talking about you in Parma

19febbraio.jpg

We proudly announce that next Tuesday 19th February at 5:45 PM we will be guest of Centro Coordinamento Parma Clubs to have a speech about Parma abroad fans, together with Giuseppe De Cristofaro (Parma Calcio 1913 Brand and Digital Marketing), Michele Galli (Museum Association President), Angelo Manfredini (Centro Coordinamento Parma Clubs President), Giuseppe Squarcia (Parma Calcio 1913 Supporter Liaison Officer) and Massimo Zannoni, President of Parma Club Mediolanum and organizer of the event, that we would like to thank you for inviting us.

We already knew that, but this is an additional demonstration of interest and openness by Parma town and Parmesan fanbase toward people like you that, even if from far and with obvious distance and language obstacles: follow, support, love Parma Calcio.

If you have been in Tardini lately you surely notice it. Sometimes there could be some understanding problems due to different languages, but if you have the precious chance to get deeper inside the surface, talk to people, share experiences together, you’ll recognize that we are all part of the same yellow and blue Family.

We have the presumption to think that such “kind of magic” is not everywhere and is not for everyone. If you are a Parma supporter you probably didn’t follow the most winning team in football history, nor the one with bigger stadium or fanbase. You just found your cup of tea. Especially from abroad, you can not born Parma fan, nor became. You just discover you are (and probably always has been).

We hope this meeting will be an important step to build an organized, recognized, respected Parma abroad fans network.

Thanks again to Massimo Zannoni and Parma Club Mediolanum for the invitation and to all of you for supporting Parma Fans Worldwide project.

Ultras meeting in Casa Matteo

Past Saturday 12nd January an important meeting about Ultras and communication took place in Matteo Bagnaresi Foundation, Casa Matteo.

The event, organized by Boys Parma 1977, was the chance to meet up between different Ultras group (Boys Parma 1977, Ultras Brescia 1911, Gradinata Sud Albenga, 1898 Pesaro, Fossa dei Leoni Fortitudo Bologna), to discover an important place like Casa Matteo, to discuss about the current situation of relationship between Ultras groups and social networks: the generational and cultural change in Curva groups, the change of the national and international rules in stadiums, the relationship between Ultras and Club’s Supporters Liaison Officer, the “digital Daspo”, the negative perspectives of Club’s property stadium…

A big thank you to Boys Parma 1977 for the reception, and for organizing this kind of events. We hope it will be one of a series.

All together with Tino Asprilla

On Thursday 21st June, two days before Parma Legends match, there will be a charity match in Neceto, a village in Parma countryside, with Tino Asprilla and other former Parma players like Marco Osio, Gigi Apolloni, Sandro Melli, Fausto Pizzi, Roberto Mussi and Giuseppe Cardone. The event is free entrance with offer to sustain Pediatric Hospital in Parma.

This kind of things doesn’t happen everywhere, first because “everywhere” they don’t have such kind of champs as former players and second because that “magic thing” that makes people feel at home is rare.

So, it happen that a globetrotter like Tino Asprilla will participate to an event like this in a little Parma province village, finding old friends on the field and, we are sure, also on stands. Because Parma is sort of a family, for us and for a lot of players too.

Thanks to Associazione Giocamico, and all the people that will help the organizers in fundraising.
