If Football is weird sometimes, football support can’t be “regular” then, an respond just to rationality. This is why we talk about our liking for a team that share with Parma the epic name: Crusaders FC from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Non UK fans between us – a part for the Football nerds – discovered Crusaders thanks to Colin, the Belfast fan that supports Crusaders FC and Parma Calcio and that we knew for his coming for AC Milan v Parma in San Siro.
We are not talking about Colin now, we will have the chance another time for that, but about the epic win of Crusaders FC yesterday night in Shield final against Linfield when after being down 1-3 in the first half they were able to overturn the result in a epic come back.
We are sure every football lover would enjoy being there at the Seaview – a part for Linsfield supporters, of course, but this is football – it would have been the perfect time to support Crusaders, even if not yellow and blue dressed.
Com’on Crusaders!

World Wide Web celebrates 30 years today and we are grateful for what represented for us as people and as away fans: the project of a Parma abroad fans Worldwide network wouldn’t be possible without WWW.
Here we would like to celebrate something that represents one of the first documentations of Parma Calcio abroad support. Surely the oldest we collected since now and if you have memories of other, please contact us.
From 1994 to 2003 Andy Gardener, a Parma fan from Essex, produced a terrific fanzine named “One team in Emilia”, and just the title is enough to get our liking. The fanzine was distributed from a Fanzine shop (a fanzine shop! It seems centuries ago and was just few years) in London called Sportpages and by postal service to, in best years, 200 subscribers from Brazil, Malta, Scotland, Norway…
One team in Emilia provided his readers with al lot of new, exclusive interviews, match tactical analysis, Boys choreography explanations, curiosities: all really hard-to-get informations in pre-web era.
Due to Web explosion in new millenium the venture was closed but it remains a wonderful proof of early Parma abroad Fan base existence. The service made by Andy’s Fanzine has been incredible and even if ended now and family needs low his time for travel, his passion for Parma never stop.
In this celebration day we would like to point our spotlight and give the deserved recognition to Andy, his fanzine, and all the fans that in pre-web era, with many more difficulties than now, fought for cultivating their passion for Parma and Parma Calcio.

Plin refers to last minutes against Genoa when at the same time we had Iacoponi, Sierralta, Bruno Alves, Bastoni and Gagliolo in.

Gino, Steve and Christian organized the first meeting in Toronto, Canada to watch Parma together with other friends.
They didn’t know each other some weeks ago, and got in contact thanks to our network and the USA & Canada Facebook Group, discovering they were not the only Hidden Crusader in their town.
This is the demonstration that supporting an Italian football team from abroad doesn’t mean being alone. It can mean find other people to share same passion with.
Really well done, proud of you all, guys!
Who was in Tardini yesterday went home singing this. And probably woke up singing this.
Same song like in previous home match against Napoli when, loosing 0 – 4, we experienced “the best 20 minutes of supporting of the whole season” (Boys Parma 1977 Fanzine, n° 14, year 26).
The original theme is from a song called “Vengo anch’io” by Enzo Jannacci that translated sounds like “I come too”. Hope it can be read as and invitation for you all.

Come to Tardini. Support with us.
🗣💛💙 We were talking abut this: @parmacalcio_en down 0-4 and Curva Nord still supporting. On and on till match end with flags and scarves. Even louder than before.
So proud of this. To be shown to occasional fans out there. And to be experienced live by younger supporters. pic.twitter.com/SkaVuxRgvG— Parma Fans Worldwide (@parmafansww) February 25, 2019

This is such a special #TravellingParmigiani picture we should rename in #MeetingParmigiani. It is special because it represents one of the things that we are working for: support Parma fans meeting outside Italy.
Dave – the Wolverhampton PFW member from the very beginning – and Antonio, Italian, that is working in the local University and that sent us a pic from Molineux some weeks ago, met yesterday to play 5 a side football.
In the match also other country were represented: Brazil, Greece, Romania, Iran, Egypt and Germany but not Parma fans (for the moment)
We are really proud to have been the driving force for this meeting. This is Parma, this is Parma Family.
Keep sending your pics!
