Nuovo Inizio back at the helm of Parma Calcio

We are supporters, not journalists. Our mission is to bring Parma Calcio and Parma closer to abroad fans and, hopefully, vice versa, but we think all you outside Italy would like to know more about what happened yesterday: the Nuovo Inizio back at the helm of Parma Calcio.

Nuovo Inizio – a 7 parmesan businessmen group composed by Guido Barilla, Giampaolo Dallara, Capital B in the person of Mauro Del Rio, Marco Ferrari, Erreà in the person of Angelo Gandolfi, Giacomo Malmesi and Impresa Pizzarotti in the person of Pietro Pizzarotti – refounded together with Parma Partecipazioni Calcistiche, Parma Calcio 1913 after the failure. Nuovo Inizio had the intent to save Parma football team, restart football passion in Parma and entrust it in the hands of a reliable football specialized businessman that was found in Chinese Jihang Lizhang and Link International. Almost one year and an half ago they sold majority quote to the Chinese group, keeping the 30% (10% still in the hand of PPC, as you already know) and the promise of being the guarantee for Parma town and fans that they would intervene incase of need.

This happened yesterday. After Link International agreement non-fulfillment, due probably to Chinese government restriction on football investments, Nuovo Inizio exercised their rights and retook 60% of Parma Calcio. In their official statement and press conference they underlined intention of a capital increase and to keep being a guarantee for the Club future and, maybe future transfer to some real trustable investor, if there will be ever condition to. Parma Partecipazioni Calcistiche will still have his role of citizenship representative and will keep having a member inside the board.

Just a quick overlook on who composes Nuovo Inizio. We will talk about them on WikiParma soon. A huge thank you to Facebook page Parma-Reggiana #maistatastoria, for conceding us to use their pictures.

Nobody will ever talk about Parma anymore

bbc_resurrection of parma

“Nobody will ever talk about Parma anymore” so they said on the other side of the river Enza, Reggiana supporters. We don’t call them Reggio Audace, in respect for their history (whatever it is) because football is made by fans, not by chairmen, televisions or courthouses.

Well, they was wrong.

Here and AT THIS UPDATED LINK you find a list of articles or podcasts about us. Something you can not miss at all and that can help you remember part of our history, the feeling of being in Tardini Curva Nord, the taste and the atmosphere there was and there is in Parma.

Osvaldo Casanova on Parma Calcio

Osvaldo Casanova Parma Calcio prints – http://www.parmafansworldwide.com

We already talked about him while presenting our logo, the Hidden Crusader, because he is the author of the original illustration from which was created.

Osvaldo Casanova is an italian illustrator, proud fan of LR Vicenza Virtus, that works mainly but not exclusively on football theme.

Here you can see the three complete works that Osvaldo dedicated to Parma Calcio in last three years and that we asked him to print for us. They represent the most iconic moments of our past and recent history and are absolutely stunnnig, in our opinion.

If anyone is interested in having a copy too, can contact him directly at info@thankyoufortheroses.com

Before doing it we strongly suggest to wonder around his website and his facebook pages: you will discover some illustration we don’t hesitate call them masterpieces.

Now we all are waiting for more history to be written and, of course, illustrated.

Little sad story

Two old friends, one Parma fan and one Inter fan, would like to bring their kids (aged 5 and 7) to watch a match at the stadium, now that finally Parma is back to Serie A.

They go on Inter website to choose the right place and realize that the areas with tickets concession for kids are few (and bad located). Anyway they decide to go there, not to spend too much money, and for the match they spend 60 euro each family, in a quite lateral place, almost the cheaper place possible.

Then they realize that with the SAME MONEY you can go in Parma Tardini Tribuna Est, watching the match lot much close to the pitch, because kids under 8 have free tickets in ALL areas (under 14 price is 5 euro all areas). Also have a walk in city center after the game because Tardini is in the town.

And if they would choose Curva Nord with 60 euro there would be : 2 curva nord tickets for adults (2×25 euro), 2 tickets for kids (free), 2 beers and maybe 2 ice creams.

This is what we mean when talking about PARMA FAMILY.

In an historical moment in which the System is keeping people and, most of all, families far from the stadiums, Parma Club bring on a family friendly politics. Consider that seasonal tickets for under 14 in ALL areas was 40 euro – yes, seasonal ticket 40 euros – and that – a part for 5 big matches – women have 30% discount on daily tickets.

This is a day to celebrate

Schermata 2018-07-24 alle 23.12.01
from Parma Calcio English twitter account

Today Parma officially opened English Twitter account.

This is something great, that means that what we kept saying in our Facebook Page and group since the beginning is true: Parma society cares about us. When we say “Us” we don’t refer to Parma Fans Worldwide community – even if we dream to start counting something one day – but to all Parma fans spread in the world.

Society is getting stronger and step by step is growing. Streaming are efficient, social communication growing, informations always by fans side even in this tough period, think about it. We tried to fill a gap when there was no translation for official statements but all the signals made us think that soon it will not be necessary and there will be a complete english website.

We have to made our part now.

Help us creating a big Worldwide Fans community, not in substitution to your country one but working as a network: helping each other, sharing experiences, giving new ideas… Maybe one day Parma Legends will organize a match in your town, Tardini will be open 7/7 even in august and summer friendly will be not just with Foggia or Sassuolo but with Dinamo Zagreb, PAS Giannina, Wolverhampton, citing some team I know you like.

If Worldwide Parma Fans community get stronger, Parma get stronger.

They are doing their part, let’s do our.

Here the complete list of Parma Calcio Official Channels.
