On Saturday, in Dacia Arena, a beautiful thing happened.
That kind of things we like to talk about because there is involved football, supporters and humanity.
At the end of the match Hana, a young Croatian Parma fan (at her 4th match this season!), was on her father Dejan shoulders to try get a t-shirt from a player, since they use to give worn jerseys to fans as gift. Alessandro Bastoni threw his jersey to her but she was not enough quick and strong to hold it and another fan took it almost from her hands. After few minutes, while she was still sadly explaining to her father that Bastoni intention was to give the jersey to her, a guy that saw all what happened went down from the terraces and gave the t-shirt to her. The only thing we know is that his name is Jacopo, that worn a Boys Parma 1977 hat, and that he is not the one who took the t-shirt from the girl’s hands but a kind and wise person that saw all the scene and decided to intervene.
In Udine, due to closer localization to Eastern Europe, many fans from that area was in the Dacia Arena, together with supporters from Parma. You can see flags and banners from Macedonia, Crociati Balkan Club and Parma Club Hungary.

Past 30th November, during Alessandro Lucarelli biography release event, the preview of documentary-movie teaser on Alessandro Lucarelli “Il mestiere del Capitano” [the Art of the Captain], produced by Luciano Parravicini (Lux For Media) and directed by Davide Potente, has been displayed.
Shooting started during past season and will go on, hopefully, next year thanks to a crowdfunding campaign that will officially start at the beginning of 2019 on Indiegogo portal and that all Parma – and Football – fans are invited to support economically.
Il mestiere del Capitano crowdfounding will last two months and could be supported with different quotes: linked to every quote of support there are some special gifts with the movie brand logo as a way to thank you for taking part to the project.
The budget quote is not the exact amount of money needed for the movie but it is lower due to the portal rules: if the budget won’t be reached, the production will not receive any help. You will be charged only at the goal achievement. So, every single donation will be important for the realization of the documentary on Captain Lucarelli and the production is anyway in look for direct support from institutions or privates. You can contact them directly at info@luxformedia.com
As the campaign will start you’ll find on Indiegogo portal all the informations in English and, of course, the English subtitled teaser!
We will update you soon. Meantime, follow Il mestiere del Capitano on Facebook and Instagram,
Stay ready for support this project, could be the best gift for a Parma fan!
Polisportiva Gioco in an Onlus association that cares about disabled people organizing sport activities: wheelchair basket, wheelchair hockey, canoe for disabled, sitting volley, swimming, dancing and other activities.
This summer some vandals bursted into the headquarters and stole expensive sport wheelchairs spare parts and destroyed some forniture.
Thanks to historical Parma fans Club “Danè 1973” they could rebuy them and restart their fundamental activities that otherwise would be hardly compromised.
Danè – like, Boys 1977 and many other fans group in Parma – support both Parma Calcio and many charity ventures. This is the demonstration that organized supporters are important characters in the town social life and a healthy example of how bringing on important values, even in modern football. Never forget it.
We think that to live a complete experience as Parma fans, especially for who lives far from Parma, is important to understand who are the main characters of our (recent) story. This is why we created the WikiParma section of the website and this is why we invite you to read this communicate by Parma Ultras Group Boys 1977.
Listen to their voice now because usually you can hear it just in Curva Nord since they avoid public appearance and because mass media too often exploited them.
We hope to have kept the passion with our non-professional translation:
“Born in 1977, we are a group of guys united by Ultras ideal, fans of Parma Calcio and of our town. A name, Boys, invented in 1977 by the dudes that created and passed it on from a generation to another, a name that became an ideal, survived to times and society changes, that had an “home”, a school, in via Calestani 10 since 1998, where we cultivated the values that created our mentality, that permitted Boys to live as Ultras for another 20 years, arriving in 2018, and being one of the oldest group to survive in our movement. This result have to be shared with all the guys that have been part of the Boys: if today we have 41 years is thanks to all those that passed their youth supporting Parma behind our banner. In Curva, in Parma, all of you know us, behind the banner there are faces, names, nicknames, boys, girls. For Boys, for the Group, for Curva Nord Matteo Bagnaresi, we put our faces, proud to do it, to bring on our ideal, our being Ultras, our living Boys.
Every decision is taken in our headquarter: by 5, 15, 40 people, the ones we are there, discuss and taken only grounding on our being Ultras and to give maximum support to Parma Calcio. We have no other interest. For this reason we never wanted to have relationship with people like Ghirardi or Leonardi, we never asked for nor accepted euros, tickets or seasonal tickets for free. We like to be without owner: with various ventures, and thanks to your essential contribution, we can keep the Group autonomy. This independency allow us to think and act only for ourselves depending on our ideals. We always paid for tickets and so for seasonal tickets; when we had “too much” money we donated and ambulance, almost 100 million liras; in bad periods, money, we put it out of our own pocket to let the Group survive. We would like to make group together, we invest profit in things like this, to bring 70 guys to Naples and let them spend 20 euros. We are not the ones that make money off fans, the merchandise we sell is intentionally at low prices.
For us it never existed to be professional Ultras, nobody never earned or had an agenda a part for Ultras ideal or supporting Parma Calcio. We are Ultras, all normal guys, like you, you know that, we know each other very well, someone since always, someone more recently, we are all Parmigiani, we are Boys, us and you.
We are not interested in cliches, in what conformists say or what Report investigation revealed. We are interested in one single thing: being Boys, being Ultras in our way, support Parma, getting into Curva with our head held high, with clean conscience, look Curva Nord Matteo Bagnaresi, look into your dignified eyes and being proud or beign Boys Parma 1977.

English speaking fans already know it. Solo Parma is a blog/website run by a Scotland based fan that since 2013 spread information about our team in English. Solo Parma often represented the only voice to hear for English speaking fans, execially when the Club didn’t make double language communication. Thanks to John “Giovanni” for his great and constant work in support for Parma Club and also to Parma community, that you know – we risk to be redundant in remembering this – we call it community but we consider it a family.
We hope it will not remain a solitary case because we need to have as much representative as possible all over, in order to build a big worldwide fans network.
The most of you already know we are quite boring talking about our mission of creating a Parma fans worldwide network. We won’t talk to much now but just post some pictures from last weekend when we had the pleasure to share our passion together with fans from all over Europe in the Parma vs Lazio week-end.
First of all thanks to all of you, guys (and girls), for making such a long journey and for giving us authorization in publishing this photos. And thanks to Centro Coordinamento and the people in Parma that are always so kind with us. The network will endure until your passion is alive.
In two days we joined Greek, Macedonian, Croatian, Polish, Scottish, Austrian, Lithuanian fans and had a wonderful time together. Meeting some player, yes, but most of all staying together and realizing that maybe we are few in our birth places but that in Parma there is also a family for us all.
Parma Club Greece made a big article on their experience that you can traslate with google. Here is the link. They – and Lukasz from Parma Club Poland – were also nominated on Gazzetta di Parma by journalist Matteo Scipioni in his weekly report on Parma match from Curva Nord.
Thanks for the picture to: Parma Club Greece, fcparma.com.pl, Dejan of Parma Boys Balkan (Parma Club Crociati Balkan), Doug (SoloParma) and Nikica.
Boys Parma 1977 and Centro Coordinamento Parma Clubs collected 1500 euro from the selling of a t-shirt in support for Genova citizenship after Ponte Morandi collapse.
T-shirts, realized by Sampdoria fans and Federclubs, was sold in Curva Nord on Sunday 21 before Parma vs Lazio match.
Remember about it when you will hear people talk about ultras.
