Second Kit is about to be announced

On 7th august at 6 pm CET second official Parma kit will be revealed.

Having a look to video presentation it will be horizontal stripped yellow and blue, one of our favorite kind.

On our Facebook Page is still going on the final poll to choose your favorite Parma jersey ever. One to two finalists is exactly this kind of shirt.

All the instruction about how to vote HERE.

Travelling Parmigiani: Dejan (and Hana) in Barcelona

Dejan is a long time fan and a proud bearer of our colors. He had so many great pics -even from Russia World Cup – we could open a “Travelling Dejan” section. We chose the most recent ones, from last trip to Barcelona with a Coric shirt on and together with another Parma fan, his daughter Hana.

Thanks Dejan, historical Boys Balkan member, in less than two weeks we will be in Tardini together!

It will be Coppa Italia derby (for Captain)

Pisa won against Cremonese after penalties the second round of Coppa Italia and will be Parma next opponent.

As you see Captain Lucarelli Facebook reaction for him it would be a special match since Pisa is huge historical rival of Livorno, the city were Ale was born and to which he is still strongly linked.

We are sure he is thinking how would it be to play this derby.

It is time to decide which is your favourite Parma kit ever before the season starts.

This time the poll will last one week and will end on 12nd august at 7 pm CET

The choice is between 1989-90 kit (that won against the historic 1919-20 crusader shirt) and well known 1998-99 stripped yellow and blue jersey (that defeated 1992-92 white kit)

How to vote? Go on our facebook Page and click on your favorite.

We present this game in collaboration with Geo Edizioni and Makia.it, the editor and the graphic designer of fundamental two volumes archival book on all Parma kits since beginning to restart in Serie D:

La maglia nel cuore. Parma, I colori della passione” by Carlo Fontanelli and Michele Tagliavini, Geo edizioni and graphics project by Studio Makia srl

If you are interested in the book you can find it here and on Geo edizioni page. The suggestion is to write directly to them to ordine@bibliotecadelcalcio.com for all the info or ask us, as usual, and will be your neutral intermediary.

You have  one week but don’t wait the last minute. Go to this link – www.facebook.com/parmafansworldwide  and vote!

Good news

As we already explained, 24th July was a day to celebrate. Parma Calcio inaugurated English Twitter account and started – really – double communicating in Italian and English on website and Facebook. Did you notice that since some days you see english post on Facebook, right?

Today we can confirm that it is celebration time: 1000 followers on Parma Calcio English twitter account and, above all, “someone” with whom abroad fans can relate to asking ticket info or just kidding like we did today.

We all know how have been felt alone until now and that’s why this is a good news for all Parma fans abroad. Believe that today Parmagiani received official encoragement for a friendly match against an Indonesian Milan fans team: can you believe how they would play after that?! Com’on Parmagiani!

We also tried kidding linking yesterday post In a better world to a request to Hernan Crespo to go with us in Indonesia for Parmagiani National Gathering in November. Valdanito did not answered at the moment but if all of you and all the friends of your friends will tag him in the post maybe he will notice it. 🙂

It doesn’t happen, but if it happens… 😉

In a better world

All of us are away fans.

Away fans have same problems. Small, big problems.

In our tough “away fans” life when we play afterwork football we are the only one with a Parma shirt. Just Barcelona, Man utd, Bayern Munich, Milan or the italian-non-colored-team shirts around us. Always.

“Your t-shirt confuse us…”

“It mismatch with ours…”

“You are the only with a different jersey, Put the vest on” “S**t”

In dreams, world can be better, imagine it… close your eyes… no, s**t… ask someone to read and then close your eyes. Ready?

In a better world, when I play afterwork football, there are not Real Madrid or Zebra t-shirts. In a better world when I play afterwork football there will be other people with a Parma t-shirt on, not just me.

“Cool, is it the 1998-99 Uefa cup jersey?” “No, it is the following by Champions, do you remember? 1998/99 was by Lotto, Champions came in 1999 as a technical sponsor” “Oh, you right, how could I forget?! Do you like my Red kit? it was the one we used only in 2017/18 in last match in La Spezia” “What a night was that!”

In a better world my colleagues will send me messages before the match asking: “Today Crusaders or Yellow and Blue?” “It will be a difficult match… let’s put Black Phoenix on!”

Now, open your eyes and look at this pic.

Yes, you read properly.

Dresscode : Gialloblu (Yellow and blue for non Indonesian speaking)

DRESSCODE

In Indonesia, for their friendly football matches, Parmagiani have a dress code.

I’m looking for cheap tickets to Giacarta, and you?

Guys, even THIS is Parma.
