Travelling Parmigiani: Colin and Neil

Sometimes you start following a team because of your classmate, sometimes because of the colors. Some other because of the name. Casualties, maybe. Or maybe not.

Colin and Neil are from Belfast, both strong supporters of Crusaders FC that started an interesting sort of gemellaggio between their local team and Parma Calcio, Italian Crusaders, following also matches in Italy.

Yesterday Crusaders FC won the Northern Ireland FA Cup – 3-0 against Ballinamarland – and our guys sent in real time a shot with the trophy and their Parma/Crusaders flag.

We took the chance to thank you Colin and Neil for their contribution to our Travelling Parmigiani photo album and, of course, congratulate with Crusaders FC for the victory.

C’mon the Crues!

Epic Crusaders in Seaview

If Football is weird sometimes, football support can’t be “regular” then, an respond just to rationality. This is why we talk about our liking for a team that share with Parma the epic name: Crusaders FC from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Non UK fans between us – a part for the Football nerds – discovered Crusaders thanks to Colin, the Belfast fan that supports Crusaders FC and Parma Calcio and that we knew for his coming for AC Milan v Parma in San Siro.

We are not talking about Colin now, we will have the chance another time for that, but about the epic win of Crusaders FC yesterday night in Shield final against Linfield when after being down 1-3 in the first half they were able to overturn the result in a epic come back.

We are sure every football lover would enjoy being there at the Seaview – a part for Linsfield supporters, of course, but this is football – it would have been the perfect time to support Crusaders, even if not yellow and blue dressed.

Com’on Crusaders!
