As we already explained, 24th July was a day to celebrate. Parma Calcio inaugurated English Twitter account and started – really – double communicating in Italian and English on website and Facebook. Did you notice that since some days you see english post on Facebook, right?
Today we can confirm that it is celebration time: 1000 followers on Parma Calcio English twitter account and, above all, “someone” with whom abroad fans can relate to asking ticket info or just kidding like we did today.
We all know how have been felt alone until now and that’s why this is a good news for all Parma fans abroad. Believe that today Parmagiani received official encoragement for a friendly match against an Indonesian Milan fans team: can you believe how they would play after that?! Com’on Parmagiani!
We also tried kidding linking yesterday post In a better worldto a request to Hernan Crespo to go with us in Indonesia for Parmagiani National Gathering in November. Valdanito did not answered at the moment but if all of you and all the friends of your friends will tag him in the post maybe he will notice it. 🙂
Away fans have same problems. Small, big problems.
In our tough “away fans” life when we play afterwork football we are the only one with a Parma shirt. Just Barcelona, Man utd, Bayern Munich, Milan or the italian-non-colored-team shirts around us. Always.
“Your t-shirt confuse us…”
“It mismatch with ours…”
“You are the only with a different jersey, Put the vest on” “S**t”
In dreams, world can be better, imagine it… close your eyes… no, s**t… ask someone to read and then close your eyes. Ready?
In a better world, when I play afterwork football, there are not Real Madrid or Zebra t-shirts. In a better world when I play afterwork football there will be other people with a Parma t-shirt on, not just me.
“Cool, is it the 1998-99 Uefa cup jersey?” “No, it is the following by Champions, do you remember? 1998/99 was by Lotto, Champions came in 1999 as a technical sponsor” “Oh, you right, how could I forget?! Do you like my Red kit? it was the one we used only in 2017/18 in last match in La Spezia” “What a night was that!”
In a better world my colleagues will send me messages before the match asking: “Today Crusaders or Yellow and Blue?” “It will be a difficult match… let’s put Black Phoenix on!”
Now, open your eyes and look at this pic.
Closer.
Yes, you read properly.
Dresscode : Gialloblu (Yellow and blue for non Indonesian speaking)
DRESSCODE
D R E S S C O D E !
In Indonesia, for their friendly football matches, Parmagiani have a dress code.
I’m looking for cheap tickets to Giacarta, and you?
We arrive three years later but the article we are about to link you is so important for us that it has no time. It remembers us where we come from, what great (and transparent and loyal, and honest) things we did together in this time, and a story that needs to be remembered.
It is important not just for the story that tells, not just because it is from an English fan (all of you knows how rare are this kind of contribution to our team). It is important because touch the main topic that Parma Fans Worldwide would like to communicate to abroad fans: Parma and Parmesan humanity.
Who – fans or players on the same level – have been in Parma for some times, who met parmesan people, knows that “kind of magic” so difficult to explain but so easy to understand.
Well, I guess Roger Paul Mitchell article is also about this.
You will probably remember the episode in which, during Parma bankrupt season, a Fan, Cesare, went down on the pitch talking to Cassano with his finger pointed on him. If you thought he was a brute, read the article by Roger Mitchell.
Moreover, some days after the episode, Cesare friends realized a T-shirt to support him against the massive and offensive attacks by hypocrite media. All the revenue was given to Parma Pediatric Hospital.
