6>7: Math is a matter of LOVE

If being a fan would be a matter of numbers or victories everybody in Italy would be Juve fan and fan of Real Madrid worldwide. It is almost like that but not for everybody.

Being a fan is a matter of passion, love, irrationality, sometimes the result for casualties.

Before Parma vs. Juventus we made a simple thought: for us, our Captain Alessandro Lucarelli is the most important ever. What he did for us – guaranteeing our survival in 2015, defending the club in courthouses,  standing with us also in serie D and leading us to coming back to Serie A, being a support and a friend before being a player – is unique. We would never exchange him with anybody. Neither with CR7.

Mathematics is easy when love is involved, so:

IF

Alessandro Lucarelli is better than Cristiano Ronaldo

THEN

6 is more than 7

We would like to tell this to everybody and we made a t-shirt to fix the concept.

If you are interested in write at info@parmafansworldwide.com

In the back you can have a known The Plin: “Everybody is talking about Cristiano, but one day his brother, Alessandro Ronaldo, a defender, will come and make history more than him” [referred to the arrival of Captain brother, Cristiano Lucarelli, to Parma one year before him]

ps: we know in 2015 Juve scored us 7 goals but, you know, we don’t give a s**t. They will never have a man like him.

Live from a cage

If you think Parma fans where few yesterday night read here.

Buses left Parma at 10 am in the morning, were blocked at highway exit for security search – men had to keep belts away – then let get into the stadium after match start. People that spent one or two day off the work, made 1600 km trip in 24 hours, couldn’t watch the entire match. They were back in Parma at 8 am. The first place where they put them was this, then moved a bit closer to the pitch.

If you have Instagram there is also a video thanks to Parma Club “Oltre I Confini”

Our consideration is that if Serie A is miles away from having sold out stands is also because this kind of reception. 187 people put in a cage and obliged to watch a partial show – a bad match but this is another story – from there.

We lost respect for fans somewhere and security reasons can be the excuse.

Only consolation is that we feel that, in Parma, the Club is far from this kind of policies and opposite team fans can always watch from a good place the match and pay honest price for the tickets. As told some days ago, not everywhere it is cheap like in Tardini.

Security is important, very important, but also give the chance to people that paid for a show to enjoy it.

Thanks to that 187 supporters. By the heart.

Osvaldo Casanova on Parma Calcio

Osvaldo Casanova Parma Calcio prints – http://www.parmafansworldwide.com

We already talked about him while presenting our logo, the Hidden Crusader, because he is the author of the original illustration from which was created.

Osvaldo Casanova is an italian illustrator, proud fan of LR Vicenza Virtus, that works mainly but not exclusively on football theme.

Here you can see the three complete works that Osvaldo dedicated to Parma Calcio in last three years and that we asked him to print for us. They represent the most iconic moments of our past and recent history and are absolutely stunnnig, in our opinion.

If anyone is interested in having a copy too, can contact him directly at info@thankyoufortheroses.com

Before doing it we strongly suggest to wonder around his website and his facebook pages: you will discover some illustration we don’t hesitate call them masterpieces.

Now we all are waiting for more history to be written and, of course, illustrated.

Little sad story

Two old friends, one Parma fan and one Inter fan, would like to bring their kids (aged 5 and 7) to watch a match at the stadium, now that finally Parma is back to Serie A.

They go on Inter website to choose the right place and realize that the areas with tickets concession for kids are few (and bad located). Anyway they decide to go there, not to spend too much money, and for the match they spend 60 euro each family, in a quite lateral place, almost the cheaper place possible.

Then they realize that with the SAME MONEY you can go in Parma Tardini Tribuna Est, watching the match lot much close to the pitch, because kids under 8 have free tickets in ALL areas (under 14 price is 5 euro all areas). Also have a walk in city center after the game because Tardini is in the town.

And if they would choose Curva Nord with 60 euro there would be : 2 curva nord tickets for adults (2×25 euro), 2 tickets for kids (free), 2 beers and maybe 2 ice creams.

This is what we mean when talking about PARMA FAMILY.

In an historical moment in which the System is keeping people and, most of all, families far from the stadiums, Parma Club bring on a family friendly politics. Consider that seasonal tickets for under 14 in ALL areas was 40 euro – yes, seasonal ticket 40 euros – and that – a part for 5 big matches – women have 30% discount on daily tickets.
